Our surgeons at Wellington Plastic Surgery are Southern Cross Health Society Affiliated Providers for Skin lesion services. In December 2025 Southern Cross have made policy changes regarding skin lesion removal and minor surgery eligibility criteria. Skin lesion removal will only be covered when specific criteria is met. Your surgeon will discuss your eligibility with you at the time of consultation. If your intended procedure is not eligible for cover, you will be required to pay for your consultation and/or procedure on the day.
Please contact Southern Cross directly should you need clarification on what your policy would cover. Due to privacy, Southern Cross cannot discuss your policy with us.

Personal Injury Cover
The cost of your initial ACC consultation will be covered providing you have an accepted claim number and a letter of referral from your GP or other medical specialist. After a surgeon has consulted with you they may complete an assessment and treatment report (ARTP) for consideration of future surgery to be covered by ACC.
